Sears Roebuck 1897 T-Shirt

$18.50

This t-shirt bears a scan of the syringes section from the 1897 Sears Roebuck mail-order catalog. The original printing pre-dates national drug prohibition in the U.S. and comes from a time when drugs were widely available over the counter, and indeed through the mail. I chose this image to challenge the hegemony and perceived inevitability of the drug war. Things have not always been this way, and they do not have to be any longer. This item will be available until I receive a cease & desist letter from Sears, which I will frame on my wall and cherish forever.

Product Information:

• White and Black are 100% ring-spun cotton
• Sport Grey is 90% ring-spun cotton, 10% polyester
• Pre-shrunk
• Shoulder-to-shoulder taping
• Quarter-turned to avoid crease down the center
